BLUE WHIRL EGG BEATER (or hand mixer)
mixer frame is marked "BLUE WHIRL" (with a swirl type logo between the words)
mixer blades are marked "STAINLESS"
The measurements are: 12 inches tall; the handle is 3 inches wide; the crank is 3 1/8th inches wide; and the beaters are 3 inches wide at the widest.
This "Blue Whirl" really does make a whirrling sound as the rotary is cranked - like a fine piece of machinery just doing its job. This is a great example of early mass produced metalware and small kitchen appliances. It would look great in a vintage style kitchen or in an egg beater collection.
Good vintage condition. Some rust on metal parts. Wooden handle is in good shape with a small amount of wear at the edges of the wooden handle. The crank and rotary work well and whirr nicely.
Mixer has been used (see photo's) and shows some wear, works fine.
