A beautiful, well thought out display of papers and ink acetates for the printer to work with, allowing them to virtually see what ink will look like on various papers and card stocks - way ahead of their time - an industry leader!
The series and book holder have obviously seen better days, and came out of a functioning graphic arts firm.
These books were put together approximately around 1971 - size each book...8" x 10"

1971
Beckett Cambric Linen was introduced.

1980
During this decade, Beckett continues to introduce innovative textures, colors, and fibered paper aimed at specifiers. Beckett Concept was one of the first recycled grades. In 1986, Hammermill merged with International Papers.

2005
Mohawk Paper Mills purchased the Fine Papers brands from International Paper, including the Beckett brands. As part of the acquisition, Mohawk purchased the Beckett Mill in Hamilton, Ohio, and the Saybrook Converting Center operations.

2012
The Beckett grades were consolidated into the Mohawk and Strathmore brands. Production of those papers moved to New York and the Beckett Mill in Hamilton, Ohio was closed
