Antique flat iron no handle
This flat iron is really old.
So old that it is difficult to even try to be accurate with naming the manufacturer on the top.
It was used with a handle and usually the woman had another one or two heating up and then would change handles and continue ironing.
Before this flat iron they had irons with wooden handles, called "sad" irons and women would burn their hands even though they were using pot holders and towels.
This character weighs in at 4 pounds, and looks like it has seen it's fairshair of work.
There is a stand with it as well.
